So far I only have two global knives but would like to keep them sharp. I have a G9 and a G3. Do any of the sharpeners sharpen the bread knife? if not fo me do you think the SH440 would be the best buy. I do intend to buy another couple og global knives when I can afford it probably a vegetable knife and a chefs knife Answer from Very Nice 2 Hi The bread knife has to be sharpened professionally as it has a serrated edge and cannot be sharpened with a conventional sharpener.
